Halloween is the season that people seem to be looking for a scare, which is why Haunted Houses seem be the main attractions during this haunted season. Haunted Houses tend to be fun or extremely spooky, but there is another method to fill the Halloween season with a little freight, and that is taking Ghost Walk or haunted tours to presumably REAL haunted locations around the United States.

Most people are not aware that almost every state has a number of these ghost walks or haunted tours. Not only do these haunted tours provide a little fear, but they will also give you some insight on History. These tours can be a learning experience and may provide you with some interesting facts that you may have not known before.

These ghost walks or haunted tours generally are in Historical locations such as historic Prisons, Civil War battle fields, historical monument buildings, hotels, restaurants, Indian historical locations, and of course the old creepy cemeteries.

One of the Most famous Ghost Tour is the Gettysburg ghost Tour in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. This historical Battle field of one of the most important and bloody battles of the Civil War. This location presents a lot of historical value, and a ton of Ghost sightings. This old Sanatorium is widely known as one of the most haunted buildings in the united States. With the proceeds from tours and Ghost hunts, the owners are rehabilitating the building, and there may be plans to turn this historical location into a Hotel, Now how creepy would that be?
